VA Health Log ("the App") is a personal health tracking application designed to help veterans document symptoms, health episodes, medications, mood, and other health-related information to support VA disability claims and personal wellness management. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal health information.

The App collects only the information you choose to enter, which may include:

• Health log entries (symptoms, severity, duration, location, triggers)
• Mental health and mood log entries
• Medication names, dosages, and schedules
• Vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation)
• Appointment and reminder information
• Your email address (used for account login and optional reminders)

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to:

• Display your health logs and history within the App
• Generate reports and exports you request (Excel, PDF, VA reports)
• Send email reminders you have explicitly enabled
• Provide trend analysis and health summaries visible only to you

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal health information to any third parties. Your health data is private and accessible only to you through your account. Reports and exports are generated on-demand and are your responsibility once downloaded.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in the cloud using the Base44 platform. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account only — other users cannot view your records. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure, and you use the App at your own risk.

6. HIPAA Notice

This App is a personal logging tool and is not a HIPAA-covered entity or Business Associate. It is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use this App as your sole medical record. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical decisions.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual log entries at any time within the App. To request full account and data deletion, contact the app administrator.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data you have entered into the App
• Export your data at any time using the built-in export features
• Delete your data at any time
• Opt out of email reminders at any time via the Settings page

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
